Obstruction cleanup workflow

Reduce distracting raindrops without replacing the scene behind them.

Raindrop Remover is designed for photographs taken through wet glass or lenses where droplets obstruct otherwise useful scene information. It targets local obstructions while keeping the composition and visible environment consistent.

Local obstruction cleanup

Detected droplets are reduced without requesting a different background or composition.

Scene continuity

Buildings, roads, faces, and lights remain aligned with the original image.

Applicability check

The tool is recommended only when diagnosis finds a credible raindrop signal.

Best candidates

Images through a window, windshield, or protective glass can benefit when droplets are distinct and the scene behind them remains partly visible.

What lies behind a droplet

A droplet can distort or fully hide detail. The workflow can reduce the obstruction using surrounding evidence, but it cannot verify content that was never visible in the source.

Review repeated structures

Check road markings, building edges, faces, signs, and vehicle lights where distortion is easy to notice. Local cleanup should not bend straight lines or duplicate nearby objects.

Separate haze and glare

Fogged glass, atmospheric haze, and reflections are different problems. Dehaze or Glare Reduction may be more appropriate when droplets are not the main obstruction.
